I passed first time with Dave in October with only one minor. Dave was friendly, understanding and above all else, patient. He helped me to unlock and achieve my personal best in my lessons and I can’t begin to thank him enough!
Avoid at all costs. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Dave is very patronising and is terrible at communicating. Unfortunately, he’s extremely blunt, very egotistical and condescending, and his text messages don’t make any sense. For example, he compared tutoring driving students to being in the armed services, saying “even they get a break.”

Dave is more worried about fitting in as many students as possible than providing his existing students with quality teaching.

I’m surprised anybody has patience for him. My brother made more progress being tutored by myself than with this instructor.

I understand that a handful of students have walked out on Dave this year, my brother included.

Needs to update prices on his website. Way out of date and way more expensive. That’s not good David by the way! Has cancelled my son’s lessons by text saying something has cropped up then going on holiday. And? The reason why you cancelled my son’s lessons are? Because you know I’m not happy with you David and
you have my number if you want to say anything
I had to write a review of how impressed I have been with the support given to my daughter whilst learning to drive. Dave is a fantastic teacher who has given my daughter a huge amount of confidence and the skills needed to pass her test. Thank you so much Dave – highly recommended to anyone looking for a driving instructor.
Anyone looking for a first class driving instructor, needs to look no further than David Bells school of motoring. David is the most reliable, considerate, and patient instructor. He gives his all to everyone of his students. I would not hesitate to recommend him, and have done so many times. Keep up the good work David, as your students value you.
