My son has regressed Academically at this school. He has had over 3 different teachers thru out school year. He had no teacher for almost 2 months at one point and the teacher he does have gets pulled out for 2 weeks at a time. No consistency, lack of man power, budget is off for the staff from the looks of it, school depends a lot on I-ready as their baby sitter rather than engaging the child with actual teaching. There is no curriculum, home work is rarely given, the students are demanded daily I-ready without being taught the material, tests are given without notice and without being given the material. According to my son, teachers are always on their phone, they don’t like to be asked questions, and the children’s learning is neglected. This school should be closed down or run under new administration.
Its a shame that an elementary school has such an ignorant Assistant Principle, Ms. Alícia Brown should be fired from her position as soon as possible. She is definitely not qualified for the job and its upsetting all the parents, but nobody does anything. Please fire Ms. Alícia Brown and bring a professional person that is willing to understand and have a good judgment.
This school is amazing. Staff are very polite and hardworking! I’m a former student that graduated from elementary in 2014. Gifted and ESOL programs are really plus special student programs. Student Council is also very Inspiring. Both principals are amazing and Cheerful people. Office staff are friendly and helpful! I yet don’t know how this school is not rated 5 Stars.
