Benicia middle school is honestly the single worst school I have ever seen. My son was beaten up so bad, he went to the hospital needing staples to close his wounds. The principal has been covering up the huge drug problem and has moved her show to Robert Semple to hide from justice, which IS coming for her in the next year, after being exposed. The teachers here are frustrated old school teachers that needed to stop teaching years ago. The fact that this school is highly rated is a joke and a lie. This is a dangerous town and school. Heroin, speed, meth, cocaine and pot are being dealt on school grounds and the police do NOTHING about it. It got so bad here that I had to move my son to another state to keep him safe until we could sell and move away. DO NOT register your student here, you WILL regret it.
We have old cranky teachers who should’ve stopped teaching years ago. There’s been 3 teachers I’ve liked and have stood out from the rest while being there Altman in 6th Sindel in 7th and Parker in 8th. Mrs.Jones is also a good teacher. Alright let’s get past my favorite teachers. You can watch a fight happen and to the momentsame leading up students follow the fighters until they start fighting then staff get involved. Somhow not relizing what’s going on. The police officer does nothing at all but go off at kids who don’t have a helmet or stand in front of starbucks even ifor they ate buying something. Teachers can’t talk about politics but they do it anyway so yeah.
Very good attempts to be a good school but if you don’t understand something they leave you in the dust to fend for yourself and if you cant meet their standards they assume that you aren’t as good a student.
