My son has been in this school from kindergarten until 3rd grade and the only great year we have had here was in 1st grade with mr smith(where ever he is i wish he could be my sons teacher again) but this year while in 3rd grade i visited for african american parent involvement day and i must say that i lost count of how many times the teacher was yelling at the children to either knock it off be quiet or listen it was so awful that i realized that students dont even learn ANYTHING because the teacher is so busy trying to correct them and get them to focus….during conferences i was told that my son would be placed in a reading group once or twice a week this was way back in february or march and he was never placed in any group instead i was recieveing calls every other day about behavior issues what im getting at is that this school has really gone down hill the office is filthy the young lady in the front is very rude and unprofessional the lunch room is gross kids standing on top of lunch tables just awful and i have not had a great experience at this hell hole my son will not be attending next year hopefully we can find a better school.thats more staffed and where they actually TEACH kids!!!!
