We love Bennett Valley Montessori School and we feel lucky that our 2 daughters are able to attend preschool there. My daughter previously attended a different preschool but when it closed suddenly, we ended up reaching out to BV Montessori to see if they had space. Many of the families ended up transferring their kids there and all of us remarked about how wonderful the school was and how we wished our kids were at BV Montessori the whole time. My youngest daughter is in the 2 year old class and she knows her ABCs, colors, counting, shapes, days of the week, etc because theyre always singing songs about them and engaging the kids in a fun way. The school also offers music and Spanish classes once a week as a part of the curriculum. The owner Jeanine is highly organized, responsive, and super warm with all the students. They have low turnover rate amongst the staff and teachers which is always a good sign. We also found that BV Montessori was the most affordable option for childcare for this area as well.
We wanted to like this school. We took a tour. We were told that it we paid the deposit we would be #1 on the waitlist and notified when there was an open spot. We paid the deposit and the check was cashed. Since then weve been ghosted for 1.5 years (no phone calls, no emails, no contact). Real bummer. Im not sure if there is an actual waitlist.
