Ms Coles is a fantastic prep teacher. She is friendly, patient with the kids and she gives detailed feedback. The school runs fun sports events throughout the year, such as the colour-run, for fundraising. Teachers praise well behaved and well mannered students with awards at assembly. There are several play spaces for the kids as well. Highly recommend.
[FYI this is a review from someone who left the school end of 2016] This school was the first school I ever attended in Australia, the school is very social in terms of excursions and incursions and the kids (from when I was there) are for the most part mannered and respectful, although their interaction with parents isn’t much, the school is a good place to graduate from primary school onto secondary schooling to places like McKinnon High School or Brighton Secondary (especially McKinnon). The teachers (from when I was there) were very understanding and would help the student when asked, I still talk to my friends from there who have gone to McKinnon High School or Brighton Secondary and it is very nostalgic, I honestly miss this school! (In summary I would 100% recommend this school to parents! although if you want to know how your kid is going or anything like that you may just have to simply ask.)
(From Mila and Zayne, graduates of 2021) This school has taught me all kinds of good manners. Mrs. Arnott and Mr.Walsh are definitely teachers we will remember for a long time. They have great awareness program for dyslexia. I cherish this school and will miss it for years to come. Thank you, BWPS.
Couldn’t be happier with the school, the introduction of phonics learning and early intervention has been amazing and the Principal, Mr Capp goes above and beyond!
some of the teachers are ok. but some are terrible, bring back media arts and freddo friday
