The school has no respect for the students at all and forces the students to do things they don’t want to do, such as getting vaccinated.very disappointed.
Nightmarish school overall, toilets reek of poop and tropical strawberry vape, since there are people vaping. They are also people who skip school. Most people are pretty racist, and most of the teachers are bad. the only good thing about the school is the wellbeing centre and all of the teachers in there. Also the principle banned all music and wireless earbuds, because it ‘connects to our phone so we can talk to people’. The principle is delusional. Do not recommend this school for anyone, including the people doing the selective test.
schools atrocious, dont need most of the stuff on the booklist, wastes money. got an afterschool detention for my socks being black, but when i asked the teacher what colour they’re meant to be she goes ‘oh i don’t know’. left after one year because of bullying, went to multiple teachers and learning leaders but nobody did anything, just made us sit in a ‘restorative meeting’, which is just you, your bullies and a learning leader doing f all to make it better, just making you all sit uncomfortably around a big table in f9, of which any other kids in the room for whatever reason can just listen in on it. people will trap or see you in a bathroom stall and they’ll start kicking on the door, recording you, calling you names and so much more but you cant do anything cause you’re trapped in the stall, and then the teacher on yard duty will yell at you instead of the people kicking the door down cause ‘you shouldn’t be in there at recess anyway’. about 3 good teachers in the entire school, i didnt learn anything in the entire year i went there and the uniform’s overpriced. wellbeing will kick you out if you’re there a lot or if you’re there during a class they know you dislike. went there one time cause i had a panic attack in class, they just made me sit at a random table with no one talking to me or helping me, and heaps of other students around to stare at me if i made a noise. DONT GO HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE TORTURED!!!
I would put 1.5 stars but there was no option so I was generous enough to round it up to a 2 star rating. Through my experiences I had a mentally rough time at this school due to the reoccurring racist and homophobic remarks I’ve had to endure from other students, even with me reporting those incidents there would be a 25% chance something would be done about it. Most the good teachers left, which I don’t blame them, I would too: only like 2 and a half good teachers are left. The bathrooms are also traumatising as I have seen literal poo on the walls, furthermore almost every classroom is so dirty except for like 2 classrooms that were owned by English teachers. I recommend people of colour to avoid going to this school or in fact more people of colour to go to this school due to the lack of diversity. Other than that, it was a relatively nice experience.
My mama said that this school is good cuz lots of students try for nossal from here. Turns out, this actually makes my chance of getting in a selective school harder… So yea, it’s ok i guess… 🙂
