DO NOT GO HERE !!! First let me say I should have went with my gut feeling and took my son out this horrible day care when the first red flagged occurred . Do not waste your time or money this place has no compassion or professionalism! My son was in the 2/3s class . The first day of daycare I walked in to pick him up and he was being screamed at by his teacher during lunch . He was not doing anything to be screamed at she just didn’t have any common sense of communicating with kids which is a BIG NO NO when working with children’s and childcare . Second red FLAG my son got into an accident and now has a scar on his face by his eye from this place and during that incident nobody called me or relayed the message that something happen until I arrived for pick up . When your child gets hurt from the neck and above you are to be called immediately! With that being said no report was made no paper work was done nothing . Third red flag a teacher who was covering because they are low staff , was watching the class and decided to man handle my son and put him in hand cuff positions which is inappropriate she also put the wrong shoes on my child got frustrated at her own mistakes and took her anger out on my 3 year old . I feel horrible because I felt as tho my son was safe and in a place where he can make friends and grow but the director has yet to set a meeting with me the last situation was back in May 16th and it’s already June she has not contacted me in regards to a meeting , there’s no report on anything that happen to my child . Every time she see me during pick up she says “ I haven’t forgotten about you “ and leaves it at that . It disgust me honestly that people work and behave there self like this with other peoples children. Also I noticed there are no set teachers for the class my son was in , he had multiple different teachers during the time he was there . They changed every week found one two left then they had substitutes there then all a sudden he had a new teacher last week . I don’t believe any of these hires have child care certifications or License to be working with children or in child care my observation they are unprofessional, unethical , not compassionate, and choosey with particular kids . I have written down every incident, time stamped every situation that came up I even have screenshots and they have yet to fix anything or call a meeting to discuss these matters . DONT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE trust me

Big Blue Marble Academy is a great place to send your child for daycare. As a parent of a child that attended Pre-K 3 and is now in the Pre-K 4 class it has been a great experience. The teachers are real professionals who are an asset to the daycare and the children. They really care about the child’s development and meeting their milestones. The curriculum is fantastic. I have been impressed with the structure and routine that goes on in the classroom. My child has learned so much more than he was learning in the daycare he was in previously.
The facilities are clean and well maintained. The playground has a variety of things for the children to keep entertained with when outside. The great thing about this daycare is they have a gym for the kids to play indoors when the weather doesn’t permit them to be outside. It’s great because in the winter they can still expel energy and not be stuck inside the classroom all day.
The staff are so nice and welcoming. In our experience the teachers have shown genuine care and concern about our child. The photos that capture moments of the day, we are unable to witness firsthand is priceless. The staff is experienced and professional. The staff truly care about the well-being of the children and aren’t just there for a paycheck. You can tell by the quality of care they give and how they conduct themselves each day. I am very happy with the way Big Blue Marble is run. The Director, Brittany, is a great representation of the quality and experience of her staff. Big Blue Marble is well worth the investment in your child and your child’s education.

Parents Beware: recent reviews are from the staff pretending to be happy parents without even attempting to conceal their names. Shame on this new management for treating my son the way they did.

I had three children at BBMA. Imagine terminating the only one with a disability, one month before he starts kindergarten, without notice, when my son wasn’t even in school that day, because you “reviewed” his file and came to that conclusion. A file that is 95% before you came along. Imagine managing to write my son’s name wrong all four times in his termination letter and with the grammar of a child.

Note to previous management and director: Britney, I hope you see this. You were amazing. Thank you for treating Z with kindness and tolerance. Thank you for being empathetic and making me feel like we spoke mom-to-mom every time.
