The office manager has been the one shining light in this experience. She was very prompt and on top of things. Most of my concern comes at the actual educator. We paid a significant amount for my daughter to take classes, and I was assured that they would help her understand the material and help her on the path to becoming a responsible driver. Instead what I hear and witness is mostly just the instructor telling personal stories, that the class is out of the teachers control, and that the highlight of it is getting coffee. I don’t mind that my daughter failed her exam, that happens, but the lack of feedback, outreach or help was basically “you have received your $700 class, bye”.
It also concerns me that she has only done one drive, and has been enrolled for 2 months and actively attending classes.
I would look elsewhere for your kids
As a student that went through the whole driving school experience with Big Johns I can say it was a very good experience the owner, Matt, and the other staff working. There are incredibly friendly and nice. It seems like they all truly do care about the people that they teach, and it shows,I had a great Experience with not only my testing, but my drives and my Final drive test. My final drive test was a great experience. Thanks to Matt the owner because he made it a very comfortable environment and helped me to make sure I was calm and not too nervous for the test. I think this is a great driving school and you should definitely go here!!!
