okay this school is actually not that good. I’m a student here and from my perspective i would not recommend. The teachers here are mostly extremely disrespectful towards students, they believe that they demand respect without giving any in return. They shout and embarrass you in front of everyone for no reason. One teacher is madam kume. She is constantly in peoples business and being just plain rude. In my experience my teacher called a student annoying and kept on calling him annoying in front of the whole class. She constantly picked on one student and favoured others. Another time the teacher did not put the homework on show my homework and then gave me and 7 other students detention and shouting at us saying it was disgusting and ridiculous. This is obviously not right to ridicule their students and call them these names. She then proceeded to say that she even forgets things sometimes when she writes it her journal yet we are not allowed? I would say the students are not bad in fact they behave better than teachers. Students here may not be the kindest but that’s with every school, but at least here students actually respect you in some form which cannot be said for the teachers.
Some teachers are fine but some are moody, the lunch was alright but this school needs a lot of improvement, i have just started here and already i know how my next 6 years are gonna be like. the people are fine, including students, as long as u are friends with the right bunch and avoid the teachers u dont like and all they really care about is trying ur best which is fine
No schools are better just depends on your experience and how hard your willing to work.
though I have to say had a bad experience at this school (because of students and teachers), teachers treat students unfairly, and when they are wrong about a situation they can never admit it, including the fact that teachers interest of help is always to back their co-worker which is very wrong.
The only good thing is that they push you to get good grades, though you may be miserable while doing so.
Though there are some very good and friendly teachers that seem passionate to teach.
I hate this school! This is school annoys the soul out of me . Teacher have no respect towards students, they will insult you in from of your classmates , they if you get an answer wrong or you don’t understand something they will make fun of you in front of everyone. Once I had to read in from of the class and I asked the teacher how do I pronounce a word and she did not answer my question. If you say good morning to teachers on corridors they completely ignore you. I walked in my lessons so many times crying and the teacher didn’t even ask me what’s wrong. If you are upset and you have a problem, they will tell you ‘I have a lesson right now I can’t talk to you just stay calm’ . They never listen! Once I cried in school and a teacher saw me on corridor and she was with a visitor and she started acting up in from of them asking me if I need anything and if I m alright, all fake! They don’t care ,they do it for the school reputation and they wanna act like such a good ,calm school but EVERYONE IN THIS SCHOOL IS DEPRESSED . They act so much when people are coming to visit the school and they tell us if we don’t behave we will end up with a detention. They care so much of what ofsted says ,but they never care about our opinions! No one is happy in this school and everyone wants to leave .
I recently left this school , and i’m currently taking my first year of exams for A- levels. From the outside , to most , the school seems to have students who produce good grades , the teachers are good and the overall attitude of the school ( being strict ) would appeal to most parents . I would however, strongly advise that you never bring your son/daughter here. I was an extremely good student , obeyed the rules and did work extremely hard to improve and get the grades needed. Whilst in yr10 i was ridiculed by the students at times the teachers. they supposedly have an anti-bullying scheme , which they never really carried out as multiple students were still targeted openly in classrooms and through social media – the teachers did nothing . I’ve had teachers who poke fun at disabled kids , teachers who lied against other students saying : they punched them , swore at them etc . Whilst applying for colleges even my own head of year when i asked him to sign a form told me not to bother applying as i would never get in.

Teachers bring students down mentally, there were multiple students who believed they would fail because of how teachers ostracized them in classes . The headteacher, though he seems like the best thing for the school, is extremely condescending , sanctimonious and self righteous man . He, during exams that were taking place in year 10, removed students not reaching their target grades 3 weeks before their exam. These weren’t students getting D’s , these were people predicted B’s or A’s but just missed them by 2 marks .

i think the worst thing that occurred within that “school” , was when I and many others witnessed two girls experience extreme panic attacks in the hallways ( collapsing to floor , hyperventilating , displaying anger and crying ) , they were called in by our head of year and the current headteacher and told it wasn’t a panic attack they were just “making a scene” and pretending .

The only real positive ? The school is invested in the students , we have daily intervention for all subjects and come in on Saturdays from 9-12 to do work and have extra lessons . It’s mandatory for years 10-11.
