My daughters both attend the Middle School and my oldest is looking forward to starting High School next year. Blair is a small 6-12 school with an incredibly supportive and tolerant environment for all kids. Tour the school and you will find that students are engaged in their own education probably due to the International Baccalaureate program and method of instruction. The collaboration between staff, students and parents is truly wonderful and I find that the leadership at this school is always looking for ways to improve and it shows!
My son comes here, and he is having a good experience. I think that the school needs a lot of help in many ways.
Budget cuts really hurt the schools!
Parking lot is crappy
There is NO home field for sports, and dangerous for players
All the departments have lots of unmet needs
There is very little parent participation
There is very little school spirit
The school is clean, but small (around 700 HS students)
There aren’t too many fights from what I hear
Overall, not bad, but $$ would certainly help this school.
