Blooming years is an absolute gem of a find. Our daughter has been going there since she was 9 months old (now 2) and it has been everything we could have hoped for in a nursery. It feels like an extension of our family, where her individual needs and personality are understood and encouraged. There’s no “one size fits all” approach – they really get to know every child and base their approach and suggestions on that. From the initial settling in sessions to the process for moving rooms, everything is so well thought out and focussed on the individual child. I can’t recommend the nursery highly enough – everyone and everything is just fantastic. She absolutely loves it there and so do we!
I initially chose this nursery with my first born based on the feeling I got when visiting. It felt like family and like the teachers/ practitioners really truly cared for and loved the children and that’s all I really wanted for my then 7 month old. My gut feeling was right!
We’ve now been with them for 2 years and my son absolutely loves it . I’m always amazed at how much he is Learning and how he loves to go to school in the mornings. Many nursery’s that we visited felt very transactional – asking me when I was going to pay a registration fee before I had even met them and it was instantly off putting. As a full time working mom I wanted to know the my child was receiving the same love and attention I would give him as the main priority. The convenient location doesn’t hurt either if you are a working parent that needs to take the tube – it allows me to fetch my child quicker after work and all those minutes add up! Highly recommend!
My son has been at Blooming Years for over two years now, and I highly recommend them. A lot of care and consideration goes into my son’s development and his personal needs and progress. They are always open, listening and eager to get your feedback on the nursery, how it can improve and any other issues you have.

The building itself is great, it may not look like much from the outside, but the inside where the children are is very homely, warm and full of life- a key deciding factor for us when we chose Blooming Years- it feels like a home away from home. Which is important when they are so little.

They’re also in the process of redecorating and revamping all the areas, so it’s only going to be better.

I think the most important factor is my son is happy, thriving and loves his nursery carers and friends.

My son went to Blooming Years Clapham for 3 years (1-4yrs) and he loved it. The care and consideration they give to each child is amazing. They supported his delayed speech, they grew his confidence and he made some fabulous friendships. I highly recommend this nursery and preschool.
My 15-month old son joined Blooming Years when he was ten-months old and I am thoroughly delighted with the nursery. The staff are caring, committed and friendly and take huge pride in their work looking after young children. My son adores the nursery staff and is happy to be dropped off in the mornings, waving and smiling at the carers as soon as we arrive.

The nursery has a loving, calm and fun atmosphere and is a happy place to be. During the week-long settling in period, staff went to great lengths to find out about my son’s daytime routine and he sleeps and eats as well in the nursery as he does at home.

We receive excellent feedback every day, covering what food and how much our son has eaten, as well as sleep times and activities. Staff and management go to great lengths to make the days fun, with a huge range of activities, from painting, book time, music, dance, tennis and messy play.

I looked at several nurseries in Wimbledon and thought long and hard about childcare options. But I am glad I went with Blooming Years. I have one very contented son who adores the staff and it goes without saying that I would thoroughly recommend the nursery.
