My experience so far at Blue River Aviation has been amazing. The staff and instructors are all very professional and kind to all new students of any skill level. My instructor, Brooke, is an amazing instructor. I would consider myself a slower learner and she is very patient and kind when I don’t master something over the course of a few lessons. I’ve asked her to do some favors for me, and she’s always taken time out of her busy day to help me out.

Though I haven’t been to any other flight school; I have zero desire to leave Blue River Aviation because the service I get is too good to pass up!

Truly a phenomenal organization. These folks helped me obtain my private pilot license. I flew with several different CFIs and they were all great.
Thanks to their use of flight schedule pro, and the ability to schedule myself I was able to find times that worked for me and my busy schedule. Another great aspect is flying out of Palmer so much beautiful scenery all around. If you’re on the fence, just do a discovery flight.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Blue River! I came up from Oregon to finish up my commercial and get my CFI knocked out, and they have been great! Very professional and organized, and the instructors have been amazing. Sarah B helped me get dialed in for the commercial ride, and Tyler P and I are working on getting ready for my initial CFI ride that will be in a couple weeks. They’re the best!
