After the tour we loved the facility however a lack of clear communication across 8+ months and multiple careless missed opportunities to clear up a miscommunication led to a complete lack of trust in the facility.
We toured in July and submitted paperwork and deposit in August indicating part time of 3 days per week. Communicated part time schedule interest on multiple occasions and received a positive response. We were on the waitlist from August to April, planning for when our son was born and 4+ months old to enter care. They agreed to part time and a start date only to state they changed their policy back in July to full time only, we were not notified despite being all set up in the specific app and account for their facility. Left us scrambling for care a week before we intended to begin as they stated they thought we wanted to send our son 3x/week but pay the full time rates. Told us they could refund only $100 of the $250 deposit despite the fact that we would have never even submitted for enrollment in the first place had we known part time was not an option anymore. Hope this experience motivates change for the facility to increase attention to detail and thoughtful communication to support those trying to figure out crucial care for their families!

EDIT – A Year Later: Bluebird is still rocking it. Our son has since “graduated” and moved on to kindergarten, where he is thriving. I have no doubt that the preparation he received at Bluebird helped him be ready and succeed in kindergarten.

Our little girl is still there and LOVES it. She tells lots of stories about her friends and the games they play. She loves working with her teachers and usually comes home energized and ready to play. 5 stars for sure.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: We’ve had our kids enrolled with this Montessori group for more than two years – first with Shooting Stars and now with Bluebird.

We love the space, love the teachers, and are so happy with how much our kids are learning, playing, and connecting with other friends!

We give Bluebird high marks for organization and communication. They share pictures regularly, post their schedules, menus, and information on the app, and message us regularly with updates and FYIs.

The teachers are lovely and the kids share stories about how they lead the classrooms – singing, dancing, making, and just letting the kids lead with their imagination. We feel very confident that they are preparing our kids for success as they continue to grow.
