I would give this school 5 stars except for the fact that the school principle Ms. Layner is nothing but a joke. She does not know how to handle bullying and trying to contact the school district is also pointless.

I will be fair and say that the teachers here are amazing, the other school staff is nothing but helpful. If I had addressed the bullying with the school counselor or even the assistant principle I am sure that the correct action would have taken place to prevent my child from being a victim of bullying at this school.

I am not moving my child from this school because I feel that the way the teachers teach and care for the students exceeds the expectations. Their are great after school activities for the kids and tutoring to help them. I would recommend this school and just suggest addressing any issues with the assistant principles or other staff.

I am a parent of a current student at BSMCA. Both she and I absolutely LOVE this school. It feels more like a home than a school with administrators and teachers knowing all students by name, offering hugs, and just being a warm, happy place. The academics are rigorous, the arts are alive and well (electives include chorus, orchestra, band, dance, drama, etc.), and importantly, kids feel safe. Before enrolling at BSMCA, my daughter was a student at Bonita Springs Charter School. There is simply no comparison between the two schools in terms of qualifications of teachers (all teachers must be certified in the subject that they are teaching), academics, arts offerings, facilities (yes, BSMCA has a gym!), administrators’ accessibility, friendliness of staff, etc.

I am so deeply grateful to have chosen BSMCA for my family. You will be too.

Only reason we liked it was because of several amazing teachers! Other then that i hated it! I don’t like being looked at like I’m a freak because I’m white child. Watching 2 girls frequently are making out and really getting into it! I don’t care to see if theres another one. Have fun watching fights but be careful because they see you like fresh meet! so you better be good!!! If you smell pot don’t be alarmed its an everyday thing and other then that learn Spanish!
