Learned to fly here two years ago, and could not be more impressed with the staff. I split some of my lessons between here and a location out of Arlington Muni, but never received better instruction than what was offered at BVFS. Many of the schools nowadays are filled with younger pilots building hours for their ATP, but BVFS is home to some of the most knowledgeable pilots I have ever met. This group of aviation junkies have decades of experience, and even the guys in the tower let me know that. If you are looking into lessons do not hesitate to begin your career/hobby here.
My 2 yo grandson loves planes and we were standing at the fence watching the planes and Clayton came up and offered to let him sit in a plane and I could take his picture. The place was spotless, professional and Clayton knew his stuff, as well as being polite and community minded. Such a wonderful experience for my grandson. Thanks!
