Who are these people who write these reviews? Disgruntled parents/students? To the contrary I can’t speak more highly of this school. Please take all views into consideration. I too went to an all girls school and had a terrible time. Unfortunately there will always be difficult people wherever you go. My eldest daughter is in year 12 and has sailed through school without any concerns. In fact she obtained fantastic results in her GCSE’S. She has been encouraged by some wonderful teachers…the like I never saw in school. She has had the opportunity to pursue DofE, Lamda and Ursuline links projects through school. Also the chance to view Cambridge Uni. She is going to Yorkshire to discover more about the Bronte sisters and is extremely impressed with the support from a very dynamic English Literature teacher.

My youngest is in year 7 and has settled in well. She too has had the opportunity to explore the amazing sports facility and is part of Talent I’D for the running team. She has also completed her first Lamda exam.

No school is perfect. With over 1000 pupils you would expect some issues. If you are considering this school don’t be put off by the awful reviews above. This is not the experience of all. I cannot recommend this enough.

I studied here and found all the teachers very helpful unfortunately my last year at the school wasn’t good. having a new head teacher join the school and change it from the wonderful place it was didn’t do the school help!
would I recommend it now?
Probably not;unless you academic.
it used to focus on arts and the creative industries but now it’s slowly becoming like the rest of the schools in Brentwood
I am however proud to say I was a ursuline girl and I have had the pleasure of being taught by some of the best teachers! It’s a shame it’s not the same now!
trust me it was terrible they say that 100% percent is the goal 30% people get e f the highest is C B A
minimum target grades.
this year my daughter their science department had all the smart people retake their isas and set 2 under they say no im sorry its to late to retake your isas when they were secretly hoarding a group that was retaking their isas. they even told them to start revising 1 week before when 1 month before their isas they were having secret revision the teachers even threatened the students not to tell the others. terrible school i say terrible.
I had best academic tutori
ng but not practical life experience as a teenage boaeder but phantastic tuition by Sister Gabriel. Can only recommend it!
Duty will be our cry
