Would never recommend anything to attend school here, the head instructor is someone who is childish and very immature and someone who should not be a position of power and when you report things above her, you don’t get any help, you get ignored, such a negative toxic environment, extremely disappointed that I emailed about 5 people in power and only got 1 response. And nothing was done. Don’t go to school here it’s very mentally draining dealing with people like this. also keep not showing my review and taking it down because they know it’s true.
Good prices and if your looking for a pretty common hair style, trim, color or otherwise they are usually pretty good. Sometimes they have students who are really gifted with hair and I have also seen some who where visible scared of cutting my daughters hair. Likewise some of the teachers who are available to help with more difficult requests can be very helpful or pushy and even rather curt.
Most times I have gone have been good experiences but for that occasional bad day you need to be able to advocate for how you want your hair done.
I went to Bridgerland cosmetology while in highschool. The only reason I am giving is 3 stars is because of some amazing instructors that were there while the previous department head was there too. They then had a change for whatever reason and Karissa became the new department head. A lot of the great instructors left. Karissa was basically a power hungry monster that seemed like she takes pleasure in being rude. I hope that as time goes on it gets better. Some of the best instructors were Kami, Karen. Marissa, Megan, and Kyla.
