Very sad to read the negative reviews and I feel they don’t reflect the real Bright Horizons. My son has been attending the Solihull branch for 2 years now and never have we had a disappointing day. Cheerful welcoming staff, happy clean and well fed child that has his own learning catered for him alone. The family app keeps my wife happy as she is updated throughout the day with info and pictures. We are definitely very happy and will be registering our soon to arrive daughter
This nursery has been great for my child and her devolpment. Have found the staff to always be polite, friendly and helpful and the overall facilities to be great. Since visiting it several times over the last year it has always been clean and tidy and plenty of activities for the kids to engage with. We get lots of updates on how our child is doing through the nursery app and it is great to see pictures of her smiling and being super happy.

Ignore the bad reviews they seem to be indivdual cases filled with hate and not giving a true feel or account of the nursery as it is today. One review clearly seems to not have read his terms and conditions on sighn up and is bitter about having to pay a small sighn up fee.

We went after big name ‘Bright Horizons’ but unfortunately, this nursery was really not up to the mark. After attending the 1st settling session, we were so disappointed that we had to make a decision to switch nursery. Staff had no control over kids. I literally stepped on a kids poo on the floor during our visit. During our visit they said there is NO registration fee because we applied for 30hrs funding. But after we informed them that we won’t be joining the nursery, manager sent the invoice of PS75 registration fee. Absolutely disappointed.
In response to the angry one star poster who complained about admin fees, and took a swipe at the staff in the process.

Guess what: Kids poo, they do, and they do it in nursery’s, regardless of who is or isn’t present, or where they are.

The staff’s first priority is the child’s welfare, after that they’ll doubtless clean the floor.

So yes, floors get poo on them in nursery, sh!t happens.

You fell victim of a corporate commercial rule. Not malice or mistreatment by the staff, and your children certainly weren’t. That’s what your grievance should’ve focussed on.

Posting a one star update with the wilful intent to drive down their google rating, stimulate anxiety in local parents, and criticism of the staff (who were no doubt following strict corporate policy) says more about you than the nursery I’d suggest.

I wondered if, upon reflection, that you delete your post and replace it with some words of helpful wisdom for those commercial rule makers.

Best of luck with the search for a nursery. I do hope you find one half as good as BH Solihull.

My Grandaughter loves it there, smiles gleefully on the way in, and always on the way out.

Ignore the other review on here based on not even attending a open evening…This nursery is amazing – the facilities are extensive and everything is clean and tidy. The garden is huge with a free flow policy so children can go outside all throughout the day if they like which is a lovely idea. The staff are all friendly and the rooms are huge with a maximum of just 16 children per room so there is plenty of space for the children to play and grow. This nursery was really impressive compared to all others in the area and is the best by far! Not sure why the person below was complaining about having to bring photo ID to the open evening – would they prefer a establishment more laxed with less regard for child safety? Absolute rubbish.
