An absolutely rubbish school. I had a spicy comic of me and Alex that my friend drew, and then the school confiscated it. My teachers don’t use my pronouns, mine/craft! This school is not a safe space for learning. I was once watching Alex stuck in the fence Minecraft mod, and every kid was bullying me. This is super uncool. B(all) SAK is much better than Brighton College Abu Dhabi!
Two of my children studied there for a year, one in primary Year 5, the other in secondary Year 7. I was very disappointed with the secondary experience. Teachers didn’t seem happy or interested, and a few left during the academic year. There was a lack of acknowledgment or response from teachers, even after constant email inquiries. They had another child’s name instead of my child’s in our portal, and because of that, my child had constant login issues. This was only corrected during the last month of the academic year, after several emails from me and reminders from my child. His entire class was refused access to the library the whole year due to misbehavior from a few local students in their classroom. Teachers had no respect from or control over such misbehaved children, so they ignored them and took their frustration out on the others. My child was slapped by one such child in the presence of a teacher as he stood up to protect his friend who was being bullied. Unfortunately, there was no notification to parents about the incident nor punishment for such behavior. If your child is weak in a particular subject, there is no in-school support or response for appointment scheduling. It was an utter disappointment, not only for myself but for many mothers in the WhatsApp year group.

My younger child’s primary teacher was really good. I was only disappointed that there was no playground for them to unwind, only a small area between the two buildings. Therefore, breaks were an invitation for inappropriately mature behavior, resulting in unwanted gossip and bullying rather than play or fun. There was no inquiry, feedback, email, or call after applying to leave the school. Most schools usually follow up, but there was nothing here. I wanted to share my experience, therefore this review/feedback. Primary is good, but secondary is a mess. Big name, but not much to offer for the price, not worth it for people like myself whose fees are not sponsored by their companies.

Best school ever! The education system is phenomenal! I am currently in year 6 at a different school, having moved in year 4. I am coming back next year in term 2! I love this school so much; I can’t wait to see my old friends and my new teachers. It’s unbelievable to see all the bad reviews of this school, but just stay for 3-4 years and you will settle right in!
It is the opposite of an outstanding school. If you are British, you are privileged; if you are not, you will be treated poorly. Management is incapable of doing its job. You have to be narcissistic to obtain a high position. The school’s environment is toxic. It is almost as if this school reinvented segregation in 2024. Do not apply unless you hate yourself.
This school is very disappointing. My children are not receiving a quality education, and I am concerned about their treatment at school. I will be contacting the authorities to address these serious issues, especially the allegations of physical abuse and the use of inappropriate and offensive language.
Racism is 100%! If you’re a foreigner, then the treatment will be the best upon enrollment, or at the playgroup. My son is local and wasn’t even given the right amount of time during his playdate. I’m not even sure how they evaluated him when all the attention was given to the foreigners. Just be fair, we are not asking for much.
The very small number of amazing teachers fortunately makes up for the plethora of awful ones. Mental health among students, especially sixth formers, is poor. Most teachers are extremely unsupportive of students suffering with mental health issues and actively make it worse by relentlessly picking on students and failing to have any empathy. The school allows known and reported abusers to roam the halls. Thankfully, there were teachers such as Simon Baker who genuinely cared for and looked out for his students. He was the reason I made it through sixth form and graduated. Academics are highly rated, but at the cost of the students’ mental health, as the school only cares about ratings. Bisad would be a much better option.
