Great school. The admissions process was swift and effective. After almost one year in FS2, we are amazed by how much our son has developed and learned. Highly recommended.
I must admit that after 13 years of involvement with the Brighton College franchise, mostly in Brighton Abu Dhabi, I was thrilled to enroll my children in Brighton College Dubai when we moved here. However, this decision proved to be a grave error. As a single mother raising three children, I faced financial hardship late last year and was unable to pay tuition, forcing me to send my children away for seven months. This academic year, the school refused to re-enroll my children or provide their academic records, hindering their applications to other institutions.

This emotional strain became unbearable, leading me to bring my children back to Dubai and enroll them in a more affordable school. However, Brighton College Dubai issued a contract without my consent, falsely stating my children were still enrolled. This action prevents us from applying to other schools, effectively jeopardizing two years of their education. Their blatant disregard for ethical conduct and basic human rights raises serious concerns about their ability to nurture a new generation.

Brighton College Dubai has a large, multi-ground area and a prime location in Al Barsha South 1, with easy access to and from Umm Suqeim Road and Hessa Street.
My son has swim practice there, and we are always allowed to pick our children up inside the school since it’s a long walk from the outside parking lot. Suddenly, today they decided they wouldn’t let parents pick up their kids from inside. My son didn’t have his jacket with him, and it was cold. I tried to explain it to the security guard, who started shouting at me that he would call the police. He even refused to give me the number for anyone in charge because he didn’t want to bother them. He didn’t seem to mind risking my son getting sick! I think they need to have a talk with their unprofessional security staff!
The worst school I ever dealt with.
What kind of school rejects a kid who passed the entry assessment test based only on a four-question online interview?
One of the questions was “Where are you originally from?”
“Why do you want to leave your current school?”
“Hobby and favorite book?”
I am wondering which answer doesn’t meet the school’s values!
All three of my children attend the college and have flourished during the past three years. There is a wide range of clubs and activities for them to join, and it’s been a pleasure to watch them develop and grow. I also work at the college and utterly love my job supporting our future Brightonians and making a difference to their education.
Unacceptable Admissions Process and Lack of Communication

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding the admissions process at your institution. My family and I have been waiting for six weeks to receive a clear response about my child’s acceptance or rejection, only to be met with silence. As the school year has already commenced, this delay is not only wasting our time but also depriving my child of valuable learning opportunities.

Furthermore, despite our multiple attempts to contact the administration for clarification, our calls have been consistently ignored. This lack of communication and transparency is highly unprofessional and raises serious concerns about the values and ethics your institution upholds.

If this is how the administration treats parents, I am left to question how my child would be treated as a student. It is crucial for educational institutions to foster a sense of trust and open communication with families, as well as instill positive values in their students. Unfortunately, our experience thus far has been anything but reassuring.

I sincerely hope that this issue is addressed promptly and that future families do not have to endure a similar ordeal. Please consider this message both a complaint and a warning, as I will not hesitate to share my experience with other parents and members of the community if the situation remains unresolved.
