I am so happy with Brighton Preschool, but most importantly my daughter loves going there in the morning and she wants to stay longer when I pick her up. They find a great balance with plenty of indoor & outdoor playtime, art, and academics. They even have monthly classes for ceramics, yoga, music, dance, and gymnastics. One of my favorite things about it is the weekly reader program: every week they provide a bag full of new, great kids books to bring home to read, along with a journal for the kid’s reflections and drawings. The Director, Gillian, is really great about communicating with parents with regular emails, handouts, calendars, and pictures. I know what my daughter is doing each day at preschool. I feel like I researched just about every preschool in Pacifica, Daly City, and San Bruno–and Brighton is the best.
In a word: outstanding! Brighton Preschool delivers a pre K program along with arts, dance, yoga, field trips, and of course plenty of time to play and run around! Gillian has an impressive background in early childhood education. She’s a true professional. Her staff is top notch as well. The school is well equipped with an outdoor play area. As a parent we share common concerns: Is my child learning while having fun? Is my child’s creativity being sparked? Is this school broadening my child’s sphere of knowledge? Is my child being encouraged to treat others with kindness? Is my child happy at his/her preschool? Brighton has put all of my concerns at ease and my child LOVES his preschool. My husband and I couldn’t be more pleased.
Our son loves Brighton. We moved here from NYC and had a hard time finding a school with structure and a set curriculum. The teachers at Brighton are organized and do a great job preparing the kids for kindergarten.
They have a large playground, garden and an awesome track for the kids to ride bikes on. My son comes home almost everyday with art. They have specialist at the school almost weekly for ceramics, yoga, and music.
We highly recommend Brighton!
