I went to this school for about a year in 1984 so I would have been in the grade 4 level. Trying to piece back random memories of this place. I remember sitting in a mulberry tree eating mulberries. I remember they had a clay pottery class which I enjoyed. I remember some teacher that had a motorbike, we all thought he was cool. I remember not doing any school work or any traditional formal lessons. I remember taking the bus into the city and exchanging to another bus for the hour long ride to get out there. It’s hard to be objective about giving a review from 40 years ago as a kid. I remember it just felt like play time all the time. Teachers represented school work so I probably spent most of my time avoiding them. Kids had already formed their cliques and I felt kind of lost there. I probably learnt the most from the pottery class, I don’t think I picked up any academic skills there and struggled a bit in the next traditional public school. It’s good to see the school is still going and I don’t doubt it’s come along way since I was there.
I went here and it was a decent school. The learning was good.
A truly developmental, holistic model of education. Best decision we ever made for our 3 children.
Former student
Best place for a child
I am grateful every day for what I learnt there and the quality of my teachers
I go there and it is an awesome school and I will always suggest it as a great school.
