It’s not a good school, children are behind with their learning and they say the are ok. not good teachers. In the period of 3 month my son have 3 teacher so far in year 5. I cant wait for my son to finish and take him out of there. Am making sure that he does his learning at home every day, is the only way I know he’s learning.
It’s an awesome school. The teachers are supper Attentive. My child loves to go to the school and it’s being so good for him! All the teachers from the class 5G are really good, especially Ms Anderson Mckenzie and also the principal Ms Hunter.
its not the school its the parents, my son goes to broadmead primary school, and I have had my share of problems. However managed to sort out the situations by having meetings with the headteacher and addressing the problem. My son is now in year 3, and I have no intention of moving him because his maths and english is above the national standard for his age. This is due to the parenting at home, not just at school. As for the food, my son had school dinners and I now switched him to packed lunch. The food is not that great, however compared to the cooked for my son gets at home their will never be anything that will match cooked food.
Historically Broadmead has had a poor reputation and unfortunately my child was placed there. Reception to year 3 was “ok” however in Year 4 my child had approximately 12 different teachers! There is poorly managed behaviour, the teaching is flimsy, and homework is not given regularily. I have encountered unprofessional teachers that show no care towards the children or their learning and to top it off last year the school held a meeting with parents to let us know that there had been several episodes of sexual violence!!! Yes sexual violence within a primary school! My child no longer attends that “school” thank God. Croydon authorities should actually investigate.
School is rubbish
Too many bad behaviour kids and not good teachers
