Before writing my review, I have to say that Christopher Gol must have some personal issue against Brookhill Nursery with all this negative propaganda. What a review full of rubbish. I have two children at Brookhill Nursery and I have nothing but good things to say about the nursery and everyone who works there. My children have been at Brookhill for 2 years and when they started at nursery the English language was a problem as Spanish was the main language at home. Thanks to the dedication of the teachers, my children incredibly developed their English, they can read, know the numbers and colours, sing songs and even write their names. It was at the nursery that my children made the transition from nappies to the pot, and yes, initially sometimes they wet themselves, but they never came home wet because they always had extra clothes to change. Yes, when they play in the garden, they come home with dirty clothes, the same happens on weekends when I take them to the park, nothing wrong with it. By the way, my children have never been pushed out to the garden, they always have the option to stay and play inside the class, but Mr Christopher sounds like he witnessed children get kicked out of the class and forced out to the garden, what a shame! Yes, sometimes they play with water (with toys, not animals as Mr Christopher stated in his review, as far as I know, there is no Zoo in the nursery), and it’s normal to get a bit wet, but again, they always come home dry as they always have extra clothes to change and when they don’t, the school provides school clothes which obviously, I have to return. Also, yes, the teachers sometimes ask for parents voluntarily to donate some fruit, which I am more than happy to do, but is up to each parent, no one is forced to do it. Also happens, that one of my kids on the way home complains about a child pinching or pushing them… instead of confronting teachers like Mr Christopher, I use it to educate them to not do the same to other children. Hey, we’ve all been there, as long as there is nothing serious, we are talking about little children…
Anyway, this Nursery always seems clean and well organised with different rooms for children of different ages, everyone at school is friendly and welcoming every day. My children leave school happy, even when they’re pinched or pushed by another child, and more importantly, they always wake up happy to go back to the nursery. I am very grateful to every member of this school for the dedication and the preparation they have given to them for the next step. To the Teachers, Assistant Teachers, Reception, and Volunteers thank you for everything and a special thank you to Miss Raffy, Miss Monika and Maya for all their dedication, but also, for their dedication to other children, what an amazing job. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Brookhill Nursery to any parent, it’s a safe, educative and hygienic nursery. Thank you. (By the way, if Mr Christopher identified so many issues in a short space of time, I recommend home education to avoid any future disappointments).
I heartily do not recommend this place to anyone.

Because children have no routine when it comes to any learning and preparation for school. They don’t learn letters or sounds, they only pretend to do something.

This is one of the kindergartens that really needs a good and thorough cleaning, it is really very dirty and smelly. The door is open to the garden almost all the time so that children do not suffocate inside. A lot of children are in diapers because the staff prefers to do something else than diapering the children. The first result, which must be admitted, is that the staff is very critical and effective, they say how many playrooms there are, etc., and in practice it ends with the children being forcefully pushed out into the garden. The staff asks parents to bring fruit for their children, and then a few pieces for one child, if they can get it, because there is so little on the shared plate.

Brookhill Kindergarten is an amazing place that allows children to express themselves freely, not limited by rigid boundaries, that is? that one child hits another and the employees do not see it or pretend not to see it, children pinch each other, if it is noticed, it is a neutral attention, just STOP and the children continue doing what they are doing.

If children play with animals in the water and get wet, they stay wet all the time.

The teachers’ commitment and commitment are truly commendable as they try to get as many children into the kindergarten as possible, which means that the council will pay them for each additional child.
It’s really a pity that teachers are not so keenly involved in supporting children, especially in terms of learning.

The unwavering persistence of parent complaints in the Brookhill community is truly remarkable. It is comforting to see that this place slowly has more opponents than supporters.

As parents, we want our children to feel safe and well cared for in the place where we leave them. By leaving our child in kindergarten, we leave some trust for the teachers, which is simply exploited at Brookhill. My child was beaten quite badly by another child, when I came to pick him up the teacher said what a wonderful day my child had today. And at home my child told me what happened the next day and the teacher denied everything. Here, too, a strong partnership is not being created to ensure the best possible experiences for our youngest.
The only thing that counts is the child’s next play and the cauncil money

Once again I would like to express my deepest disappointment at Brookhill Nursery for their unwavering deceit in assuring me that everything was fine when it was quite the opposite.

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on achieving an outstanding rating from Ofsted. It is truly well-deserved, as Brookhill Nursery has consistently proven itself to be a remarkable institution. I have always held a deep affection for this nursery and its exceptional staff. Not only did my eldest twins attend, who are now 9 years old, but now my second set of twins, aged 3, are also experiencing the same wonderful environment. I am sincerely grateful to all of you for creating a place where our children’s lives are brimming with joy and excitement every single day, akin to a perpetual funfair.

Brookhill Nursery is an amazing place that allows children to freely express themselves without being confined by strict boundaries. It fosters an understanding of their own power as little human beings, empowering them to embrace their unique qualities as well as develop their skills with others.

The dedication and attentiveness of the teachers are truly commendable. They provide invaluable support, particularly with regard to potty training. I can personally attest to their assistance, as they have helped me navigate through the challenges of potty training all four of my children.

The unwavering support of the parents within the Brookhill community is truly remarkable. It is heartening to witness the collective effort put forth by both the nursery staff and parents to create an enriching environment for our children. Together, we form a strong and nurturing partnership, ensuring the best possible experience for our little ones.

Once again, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone at Brookhill Nursery for their unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional early childhood education. I eagerly look forward to September, knowing that my children will continue to thrive in the nurturing and stimulating environment that you have created.

Thanks so much!

Brookhill Nursery is exceptional! My daughter had a fantastic time there, thanks to the friendly staff and nurturing environment. Highly recommended!
I wouldn’t recomend this place no one. Staff members banishes kids on the garden even outside is -6 during the winter.

Most children run a runny nose, some children eat what comes
out of their nose.

children only go there and do what they want and consequently they get bored and beat (it’s normal for the staff).
They don’t learn anything there, they don’t have routines.

Staff members don’t control children at all.
