We have moved to Fremont few months ago June 2012. I have two boys 1st and 3rd grade. One week after school started I got a call from Brookvale Elementary that 1st grade are over loaded and I have to send my youngest to different school. We have encountered this before at different school. But difference between other school and Brookvale Elementary is other school let you know before school starts so I can find a school where I can send my two sons. But Brookvale let you know after one week after school already has been started. My 3rd grade son already made friends and didn’t want to move. My wife work early in the morning and now I have to drop off my two sons at two different schools at same time. And my wife have to pick them up almost same time as well. I have talk to Brookvale principal and explain my situation and only message I got from her was many families are in same situation as you are, they are taking it as it is and so should you. Principal is implying that they have made decision and it’s final we don’t care about your situation. There are nothing I can do to make it difference. The person who work at the office said some parents who was same situation as I am. And they end up sending their kids to private school. I am thinking to my self “Is she saying if you don’t like how we run our school tough luck send your kids to private school” one time I was so upset I was thinking just that but why should I have to spend thousands dollars because Brookvale made an error how many kids they are going to have before school starts. This is why I am giving Brookvale and Principle a big fat 0.
Their isn’t much diversity within the students. It’s mostly Caucasians or Indians. They have a nice park on the side of the school but a lot of geese poop.
Very good teachers. The teacher also uses apps to communicate with parents on progress. Love it.
