I went to this school in the 90s and I totally enjoyed every day, I was a boarder and the teachers were really good and they were very helpful
I went to broomhill bank school when it was an all girls school I was there from 1990 to 1991 I didn’t like it there
I liked Broomhill Bank School because we got to do lots of fun activities that many other secondary schools might not do like theme days and McDuck day! The staff were very helpful and kind too. My favourite lesson was Science which I had not liked at primary school but they made it extremely fun at Broomhill Bank, I also enjoyed English, Maths and work experience , P.E, Independence training, the only thing I did not like was dance and I wished we done History even if it was a History Theme Day and not a lesson!
I also liked making things for Christmas in the Sixteen Plus, later The Further Education Department (FED) Sadly they don’t have it any more but I really enjoyed boarding and Arches Club!

This school changed my life.
after receiving a poorly handled education and lack of support due to bullying in primary school, attending this school talked me how to read, write, draw, make friends, and helped not only with my speech problems, but also my lack of confidence.

i miss attending the west site like crazy and hope that they are continuing to help students out with education, home related problems and are still handling bullying the way it should be handled.

thank you for changing my life <3

This is the worst special needs school.i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, my son was builled by pupils and staff, ridiculed by staff, there is a total lack of support, bad communication, even when he was not there and they were ment to support him from home it was constant let downs and not turning up, thanks to the school making my son feel suicidal he has missed over a year of education and been continuously let down and lied to.
