I went here for my junior year, to say to the least Im very disappointed with the school. Just two nights ago I went to their homecoming dance with my girlfriend ( who is a student), and the principal was extremely rude. We had to leave early from the dance and the principal and administrators were so rude that my date ended up getting emotionally distraught! We told them we had to leave early and they said it stated in the hand book that we were not allowed to leave. I didnt think it was legal to hold an 18 year old and someone who is not a student against their will at an after school dance. The next day my girlfriend (the girl I took to the dance) went to the office and showed administration that no where in the handbook does It state that the school can keep us hostage! Everything would have been fine if they had just said you may not leave unless you can have a parent let you leave, but that was not the case. They were confrontational rude and even at one point said call the sheriff if you need to and I apologized multiple times trying to deescalate the situation. Saying I dont mean to be rude or cause problems but, I have to leave. The principal especially was the rudest one there. I would just like to give people a heads up. If you pay good money to go to a private school you expect to be held to a higher standard right? It is the opposite here.
