This place is terrible. They charge $33 for blank tabs you can buy anywhere for $5. Most company’s have pre-printed tabs that are easy to read. The Study guide they sell for over $600 is out of date and does not match to the books they sell with it. This makes tabbing and highlighting much more difficult and time consuming than it should be. Then when you take the practice exam you have no way to reference where the answers are on the questions you missed because the page numbers in the guide don’t match half the books they sell you. The study guide is basically worthless. One of my binders came damaged. Overall terrible experience. SPEND YOUR MONEY AND TIME ELSEWHERE! I spent well over $1,000 on study materials and was set up for failure. These people are scam artists and thieves.
I took the Roofing Trade course, This class was packed full of great information and how to navigate the exam, the instructor knows his stuff. For the Business and Finance, the first time I went in blind, big mistake! The second time, I used their methodology, past the exam with ease. Their instructions work! When it came to licensing, Jess and Sam, went above and beyond to help us. They have years of knowledge and resources and were so helpful when we had questions. They know exactly what is needed and direct you according. We couldn’t have been happier to have them in our corner. We will always recommend BTES to everyone, they are much more than just a prep course!
I Took the business and Finance course as well as the AC course. After highlighting the books and going to the classes I had a great Handle on it. The study guides and practice tests they give you are awesome. And a lot of the exact questions were on the test.I studied only for a couple hours the day before each test and passed with flying colors. Stu and Nan do a great job with the classes. They also did my licensing paperwork and Sam and Jessica are top notch for that part! Glad I had them do it as they know exactly how to word everything and thats far from my expertise. Would recommend them to anyone, told lots of buddies already!
