Very disappointed. My son turned 3 this summer and started preschool – less than 2 days in (after only 3 hours total in the classroom), they kicked him out and told us they weren’t equipped to help ‘a kid like him’. There was no discussion beforehand, no working with us to make a plan, and no time to adjust to his first out of home care experience. I have since talked to many educators in my circle of family and friends and they were all surprised (and a little horrified) that he was kicked out so swiftly. If your child is hyper or neurodivergent or if there is there first out of home care experience – look for someplace with more empathy, patience, and parent/teacher communication.
I will no longer be supporting this place. The owners apparently are horrible people posing as really good people. I was telling a friend that we go to Buttons and Bows Daycare and love it
and was told they put a widow with 3 children out of her home that is behind the daycare that she was renting from them. I dont care what she did, thats disgusting. My wife and I will not be coming back. We dont support people like that in our community, not a welcoming spirit at all.
Amazing school. This is my daughter’s second year and she loves it. I also went to button’s and bow’s 30 years ago! And my son will be attending as well. The kids learn and get used to being in a class structure and the teachers are great. Highly recommend.
