Just graduated, great school, I couldn’t be much happier than I am right now. This school had many bad rumors about it but all that negativity is gone and dealt with. The students that enrolled in my generation changed the schools looks and moved it on how it should have but it wasn’t just us, we had amazing counselors, staffs, mentors. For students who just talk bad about the campus…….well you don’t see them graduating nor participate in activities to get the full experience of what the school has to offer. Sure it’s the youngest in its area but it accomplished a lot in eighteen years of its existence. Also compared to all the other schools in the more-league, well is so much better and I’m not being biased either, have a school tour of all the schools in Long Beach and everyone will see that Cabrillo High School stands out.
Now a jaguar , forever a jaguar. I have my jaguar pride. Class of 2k14 Loved it!
I graduated in 2011 (CLASS OF ACES). When I attended, I noticed that when you have a great leadership team working in the offices and classrooms with one common core goal, you end up with a bunch of successful students. Granted, there were a few students who still struggled academically, socially, and mentally (me being one of them) but there was still hope and support given. Cabrillo High School is a great school because of the support system, and staff involvement. I now notice that there are more curricular activities and student participation from when I was there. The school is moving in the right direction. Six years later and I couldn’t be more proud. GO JAGUARS!
I used to come here between 2006-2010. The staff were really nice with everyone. I didn’t seem to see any problems between freshmen through senior year. Made the best time of it. I do know there’s new programs that weren’t around when I was there along with a pool and the freshmen are now separated from the others from what someone told me. Overall just do easy classwork and homework and its an easy grade. I remember ditching a lot and as long as I did any work I missed it was a pretty simple easy thing. Overall its a nice school. Much better now.
