The school was rlly dry and honestly we had more ‘bE pOsitIvE aNd hAppY’ chats then study related ones. This certain staff member was such a pickme (he’s the main reason I gave the school a 3) and no offence but he was the biggest hypocrite like he was yapping for the first half of the year to do stuff without expecting anything in return and he’s went against that way too many times like that one time he went emo when no one asked where he was on pizza day LIKE SIR UR OFFICE IS 2 METRES AWAY NO ONES STOPPING U FROM COMING. Also his whole personality was telling us the last year kids were sm better WE UNDERSTOOD THE FIRST 100 TIMES NO NEED TO HAVE A COHORT MEETING EVERY FIVE DAYS ABT IT. The other staff were really nice and most of them taught really well. Overall it’s a pretty average school.
Caladenia just support and want normal kids they always don’t like and refuse special needs kids they refused two of my friends sons and my son and this is something shame to refuse those kids who needs help and being in their catchment area my friend’s son for this year stay at home coz other school don’t accept they all have one reason your not in our catchment so poor that kids who has disabilities, my son went to this school only for one day at year 2 I changed him from another school to this school that day they called me for pick up I picked him up and the next day I took him back to school there was a tall man with blue eyes he came to me and said you son can’t go to the class I said why he said it’s not allowed him to go the class I brought my son back home the same day we had meeting with principal we went for meeting they being rude with us he said we can’t do magic on him or we can’t do injection on his brine he can’t come to this school. So we paid for uniforms and all that staff which needs for school if you can’t accept special needs kids why you didn’t inform us before we paid for all that staff ???? SAME STORY HAPPENED WITH MY FRIENDS what a shame.
My daughters went to Caladenia from Kindy to Year 6. Absolutely lovely teachers and fantastic school community. Alot of families move to the area due to Caladenia being academically up there, and due to that, its a very multicultural school. They definitely need to do something about the Principle and Deputy (the senior grade one) The favouritism is absolutely disgusting and extremely obvious (this is even coming from families whose kids are favoured) The school only care about academically gifted children and if your child is falling behind they will be asked to sit Naplan out. They only care about their reputation and do not look after all children. Look at Ranford Primary before thinking about enrolling at Caladenia, it’s a much more all rounded school. Our experience wasn’t the worst but I know alot of families who struggled and still are with the school.
Front office ladies are absolutely amazing, they are outstanding with their work and always willing to help
This primary school helped me make friends/also teach me amazing new skills lovely school don’t listen to the bad reviews those people are delusional plus best principal and deputy principal they care for me a lot I never found a school like caladenia
