this was once the theatrical franchise operating site of the Round Up Drive In Theater. the theater shut down and ceased theatrical franchise operations sometime between 1965 and 1969.the theater’s screen,however still remained standing until sometime between 1982 and 1988.the front entrance faced Broad Street the whole time it was operation.the screen had a picture of a cowboy swinging a lasso,trying to rope a calf.also in the picture on the screen’s back was a calf being branded,along with a cattle drive,a chuck wagon,etc…!
The schools doesn’t know bus route or times or drivers for my grandchildren when you call school board you are on hold for 25 minutes or longer then receptionist says I will put you thru to transportation it rings then hangs up, school starts Monday, no one can answer your questions, do you put them on a bus and hope for the best, Calcasieu parish school board needs help seems no one knows what they doing or how to do it, ?? for all kiddos, you would think someone wanted to help, nope, not a one!!
