In my younger grades ( prep – grade 2) I had a teacher duct tape my hand because I wasn’t holding my pencil right , also had a teacher rip up my handwriting worksheet right in front of me then she threw it in the bin and yelled at me to do it again, properly. I got 3 “thinking rooms” for doing nothing wrong, but being blamed by some other kids for something they did wrong . I wasn’t a troubled kid at all I just had a couple learning disability’s. Some of my teachers were very nice to me, the school grounds were well maintained. The only thing is when you get into grade 3-6 there is no play grounds. I and my friends remember some days when we arrived at school early the principal was making all the kids go down to the oval and walk in circles, I don’t know why .Its a good enough school I guess.
Teachers treat you nice, but theres always a bad apple in the bunch. I once had a teacher who put me in detention for sitting near a fence. The reason for the one star is because of the students, they are very hard to cooperate with and the bathrooms are one of the worst ive ever seen. I think they only care about visitors and not students because student bathrooms are always messy, I barely see cleaners in there and nobody flushs the toilet. The hall bathroom however (which visitors go to) is very clean.
Outstanding school with exceptional staff that actually wanted you to achieve and gave incentive to do so. The school had 3 ovals, 5 if you include the infant one and a massive bitumen court where you could have 16 square handball games plus a tennis court, hall, swimming pool and dance studio. Wouldn’t be surprised if families moved to live closer to this school just so they could be in the catchment area to get in.
At my old school everyone would bully me and be mean but this school everyone is so kind and caring and I have my forever friends who are by besties and all the teachers are kind. Everyone says the deputy principal is mean but when you get to know her she is so supportive and sweet.
I went to this school. I didn’t really learn anything here, but it was great cuz of the mates I know since here, the Awesome OSHE staff (scotty was the greatest mate), and I had fun before High school crushed me.
‘kay school. But because there is no James Dean vibes:
Seven James Deans out of Ten.
(Still have mixed opinions about the Vice principal though)
