If you get a call to work there, run away.
The teachers are good at everything, but please give grades 6 to 4 better balls. The ones we have are made out of foam, and half of each ball is basically gone. Don’t even get me started with the changing rooms! They smell like fish, and the stalls offer no privacy because of the ten-foot gaps above the partitions.
Good facilities, but there aren’t enough changing rooms, and the teachers get upset if students are late, even though there are at least 60 kids of each gender per grade who have to fit into a changing room with only 10 stalls. Not to mention, it absolutely reeks. The principals are not friendly and are always accusing students. The teachers do not teach well, the AC is always broken, the roof leaked for weeks, and the teachers lack training. One teacher claims to be 16 years old and called two students “fools,” which is unacceptable. I am not saying that the school as a whole is racist, but my friend had an experience where she tried out for the badminton team, and it seemed that only Caucasian people were selected. (My friend has played in badminton championships in her home country.) Disclaimer: I am not trying to pull the race card because I am biased toward my friend. Some teachers are truly special and care about their students, but I definitely can’t say that about most.
I’m a student here, but unfortunately, this school doesn’t cater to people with disabilities. We have no ramps, elevators—nothing—and we have three whole floors. The school seems to expect everyone who enrolls to be able-bodied.

The school gets 47,000 [currency unspecified] from every senior student, plus 12,000 [currency unspecified] for bus transportation, but the money seems to disappear. I’ve been at CIS for 13 years and I grew up with this school. I love it with all my heart, but the truth is, its facilities need much improvement.

The teachers are adequate—I’ve never had a problem with them—it’s just the facilities. I don’t mean to be harsh! Just leaving an honest review.

Just glad Mr. Chris is finally gone for good.
My son is learning happily. Teachers are friendly and very professional. The environment is safe and welcoming, and the discipline is amazing. I love CIS; it’s been 10 years.
We like the school, but it needs to provide transportation to Shakboot City. The distance between Khalifa City and Shakboot is short compared with other areas.
