I am delighted to share my positive experience about Canberra Montessori School. The school’s commitment to fostering a nurturing and enriching environment for children is truly commendable. The dedicated staff creates a supportive atmosphere where children thrive academically and socially. The Montessori approach is evident in the personalized learning experiences, encouraging independence and curiosity. My family and I appreciate the school’s emphasis on holistic development, making it a wonderful choice for our child’s education.
The thing about CMS i love is how they have a very safe environment, my sister at first hated her school she thought it was boring and expected all schools to be the same. Through much convincing she decided to go CMS and has loved it ever since, I can see a positive change in her as well as her urge to try new things. I have seen my sister’s development as a student and as a person. The teachers and the staff put their utmost effort to help the kids achieve their maximum potential. I’m extremely glad we found this school.
A home for kids outside their home. I have seen the family feel in the environment with the sole focus on the wholesome child development. Holistic approach, dedicated teachers and staff, well curated activites all in all a complete package.
Our family is so so happy with Canberra Montessori. The staff work so hard to offer a hugely respectful and empowering environment for children – and they succeed! They bring the Montessori principles to life of course, but also show so much nurturing commitment to the children.

It’s a small school so it has that amazing community vibe where everyone knows everyone, and every week I’m blown away by the leadership opportunities that are given to the students as they grow and develop.

Communication has really come a long way – it was quite limited when we first came to the school in early 2017 but is much more open and frequent now which is great.

If you’re looking for respectful and empowering education for your child this is definitely the place.

My Children have been attending the parent toddler program since 2017 and now have started cycle 1. So far we are loving the school, teachers and the environment. I am a bit disappointed with all the poor reviews however will update my review later if there are any issues (hopefully not).

Just updating my review: my oldest has been attending CMS now for 2 years cycle 1. We still love the school, the environment, teachers and community. It’s such a great little school.
