I’ve been training with Volta so Mundo since 2008. Mestre & all the other instructors are like family. They are amazing teachers, not just in capoeira but in life. I truly believe that training capoeira with Volta ao Mundo has made my into the best version of myself possible. At 30 years old I am stronger, faster & more flexible than I’ve ever been in my life.. Mestre has taught me to never stop improving. And now I’m finally trying to learn the musical aspect of capoeira – something I never thought possible. I really can’t say enough about Volta ao Mundo capoeira- try it! No matter what level of fitness you are, you can do capoeira. You can work at your own pace to improve- & no one judges!

My 4 yr old daughter is also in the Capo- preschool, which is also amazing. The teachers are great. The capoeira movements has been so good for her gross motor skills and strength. The music, culture, language, disapline are just a few more advantages capo-preschool has over any other preschool!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about capovam. Both of my children started capoeira with the after school class and eventually I started adult classes as well.
Very welcoming instructors that are patient with all skill levels and always willing to go the extra mile if you need help.
Absolutely wonderful with my kids, . They keep it fun while teaching music, martial arts, and even some Portuguese.
You wont regret having you kids enrolled or taking the adult classes.
This academy has changed my life forever, I am awestruck with the dedication, fun, community vibes and honorable martial arts and cultural lineage of the teachers and classes here. It’s like paying for a gym membership and getting high vibe friends, music, body movement and health, as well as deeper learning through arts of mind-body-soul connection. I always leave class feeling better than before, no matter what mood or energy level I arrived in!
