If I could give this school 0 stars I would. When I attended this school I had countless problems but a few really stuck with me.

For one I had a friend at this school who had expressed dealing with dealing suicidal thoughts to some teachers, I had even seen seen a student once directly tell their homeroom teacher “I want to kill myself” not once did any of these teachers help. when my friend attempted suicide she sent us a goodbye message that I only saw in the morning before school started, my friend told a teacher that we believed our friend had attempted suicide could be dead. the teachers didnt believe us until we didn’t back down and showed the messages, then they sent us to class while none of had any idea if out friend was alive or not. we didn’t find anything out till hours later.

secondly, I lived in an abusive household where I was significantly underweight from the lack of food I was provided and any money I got my hands on went towards being able to eat, yet I was hounded for weeks by my homeroom teacher to bring money in for Caroline Chisholn day, despite the fact that I told her I had absolutely no money.

thirdly this school has a habit of pushing religious ideas against children in way that is unacceptable. I understand this is a Catholic school and there will be religious teachings, but on multiple occasions teachers have happily helped bullies be bullies in the name of God. not very Catholic to bully teenagers but that’s just my opinion.

I also once witnessed a teacher who had upset a student and the student walked away from the situation, in an attempt to “apologise” this teacher grabbed the students arm to stop her leaving, however she grabbed her so hard that bruises were left behind.

My friends and I tried countless times to report this kind of behavior but nothing ever changed, my time would’ve been better spent watching paint dry.

this school tries to say that they are the best through nice buildings, uniforms and the students that excel in academics but that is just a cover up for the unprofessionalism and lack of care for every other kid.

The school itself is good, great buildings and facilities but the teachers, education and student behaviours are appalling. I don’t think I have ever seen a school run as poor as Caroline Chisholm College. The “wellbeing” they are so worried about means nothing too them at all. On various occasions I have witnessed students being bullied and mistreated by both students and teachers and when reported… nothing happens! I believe no person should have to face this and it should be handled in a more appropriate way. And the teachers, I have had witnessed multiple teachers who pick on students individually who show no behaviour issues but in my eyes are excelling. It feels like the teachers are bringing the students down to bring them happiness. This is also a major reason the wellbeing at this school is so poor and does not receive the attention it deserves. And the uniform guidelines are ridiculous. It feels like every student needs to look identical to the other and we can’t show any personality or uniqueness. 1 stud or small hoop earring in each year, religious jewellery and skirts on or below the knee is not letting any girl at this school feel comfortable and is a major distraction for many people. As teenage girls, we care about how we look and if we don’t feel like we look good we don’t show emotions that make people feel good; once leading back to the “wellbeing” at this school. Being at this school has not helped me one bit and has not allowed me to develop the independence other kids my age have allowed to grow. Other schools in the local area I would recommend any day of the week compared to this school and if this school is a recommendation for your daughter, please I really advise you to re-think your decision. Caroline Chisholm College is a dreadful, sickening school with many, many ridiculous teachers and rules and changing schools is the best thing I may have ever done in my life yet.

And for the school, don’t bother looking for who wrote this, the school hasn’t allowed me to gain enough confidence to post me real name.

Studying at Caroline Chisholm College has been a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff work closely with students, helping us to develop and achieve our goals. This, along with the state of the art facilities and welcoming environment, provides a supportive and nurturing learning space.

The school leadership go out of their way to ensure every girl gets the assistance they need. For example, one of my preferred HSC courses (Engineering Studies) wasn’t offered at the College, so they encouraged me to study it through distance education while also including timetabled lessons with a teacher who was formerly an engineer to assist me with my studies.

My favourite part about Caroline Chisholm College has been the extra-curricular opportunities available for students. Opportunities are available for girls in sports, STEM, leadership, community service and much more. The partnerships manager is really easy to approach and quick to get girls connected with people relevant to their dream career!

This school is absolutley terrible, most of the teachers are not welcoming at all and do not have any undertsanding whatsoever too the students, i am a student here and love the school its self, they have great opportunitys and facilities but the teachers and staff’ are absoulutley appouling. I have experienced teachers hitting students, filming students, name calling and many more and the amount of times these incidents have been brought up with the office you would think they would do somthing seeing as they are all about our “wellbeing” but they never do and these incidents are normally with the teachers that have been at ccc for various years. This is also not to mention the way the school deals with bullying, the most they do is tell the kids to stay away from eachother thinking that does something. There are many more problems i have with this school that follow up behind this like the teachers little to no help with students that struggle with work, the strict dress code as well, these students are teenaged girls and the fact we cant have a little bit of nail polish on or more than 2 peircings restricts the way we express ourselves. whats a childhood for a teenaged girl thats constantly being told no colours, barely any peircings, no nails, no make up, no jewelry that has anything other than a cross ect. its absoulutley ridiculous, caroline chisholm is teaching girls from as young as 12 years old things like “skirts should be no shorter than your knees” just because what?
A man cant help but sexulise a woman for having a bit of upper leg shown? ccc talks about women empowerment and how amazing women are but yet they do nothing but shut them down when we find one way to feel femine, pick up your act ccc and do somthing, because its seriously getting out of hand.
I went to this school for four year’s, It was the worst four year’s of my life. most teacher’s had no regard for student wellbeing, one even told me she would pay money to see me fall in the future, I may have not been the best student but I sure did not deseve the disrespect that these so call educater’s gave me. Don’t even get me started on the overbearing rules and regulations that strip students of there individuality and privacy absolute over kill. i do not recommend for any young girl wanting to attend this college.
