If I could leave less than 1 start I would. When I originally called Casa De Ninos to put my daughter on the wait list I was laughed at by the director, Veronica Green, and told we needed to come in for an interview. So I scheduled an interview for the following Monday evening at 5pm. When we showed up for our “interview”, a younger girl answered the door (who seemed to be the only employee there watching the children) and said the director was not there and she knew nothing about an interview. Very unprofessional, and not to mention this whole place looks like it was hit by a tornado!!! When we were pulling into the driveway I got an uneasy feeling just looking at the house and the backyard where just about anybody could jump over the fence if they wanted to! We are very disappointed in the way we were treated and shocked when we showed up and there was nobody there for our interview. Casa de ninos advertises to be a great Montessori school, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable sending my child here whatsoever.
Casa De Ninos Montessori has an excellent staff and teachers. Our son had no prior knowledge of the Spanish language, and we are most impressed at how well the teachers have communicated with him. He now speaks and responds in Spanish, all within a year of being at Casa! We love the family-like environment and the home-cooked healthy meals. Casa is always clean and sanitized, and we love that the children wear slippers inside. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to ensure children are safe and learn through play. Not only has our son learned a new language, the Montessori method at Casa has helped our son develop independence and freedom of choice. The smile on our son’s face at drop-off and pick-up affirms that we made the best choice when we enrolled him at Casa De Ninos!
Our daughter has attended for a little over 2 years. This place is like family. All the kids are taught responsibility, respect, love, friendship and other life skills. Such a warm, welcoming and loving environment. Casa de Niños – St. Louis. – Montessori Bilingual Academy teaches kids yoga to help with positive mental health and self awareness, feeds fresh vegetarian food and snacks, is environmentally friendly with all teaching and supplies. AND they learn in a Spanish immersion environment!! Absolutely wouldn’t think to take our children anywhere else as our 7 month old son is already planning on attending as soon as he is able.
