Wouldn’t recommend this school at all if you’re going through any custody situations. Let them know from Day one every detail about the situation gave court papers and all, they still let unwanted people go have lunch with my kids WITHOUT any confirmation they were related to my kids (the secretary of the office had to talk them out of pulling my kids out of class for the day) I would have showed up to pick my kids up and they would have been gone! ..they also let them put different names on pickup sheets and so on. REMIND YOU NO CONFIRMATION THESE PEOPLE WERE EVEN RELATED TO MY CHILDREN! When Denver Human Resources got involved not only then did this principal “Mr. Jason” whom I’ve never met let my children get pulled out of class to talk to “Authorities” without so much as a phone call to any parent guardian that my kids were being questioned until the next day but he then lied to cover his own ass when he was confronted that the Family was violent, had to be monitored since Day 1 and lied that he had overheard parents saying they didn’t even “Want their kids” . When the teachers of the children Wrote letters for court and spoke to Authorities saying this wasn’t true and the parent had been a very active and supportive parent, those teachers were “Let go” due to “Wanting younger teachers at Centennial” This school is a Joke as well as this Principal that handles no Situations brought to his attention. . Teachers are great! The rest of the school seemed awesome, Sad and scary they put my family through this.
So it’s been a few months since i decided to remove my daughter from this terrible school, she was in kindergarten as well as first grade here. Here’s just a summary of our terrible exp. First, my daughter had lice consistently for 3 months straight. I contacted the school several times they wouldn’t even send out a note to the other parents due to the low income family’s not being able to pay for treatment, Medicaid does cover lice shampoo all you have to do is ask. Then she was severly bullied by two make students. First time she was kicked in the back of the head off of a music stand, and again pushed on her head to the concrete floor. I called the school and they said my daughter was a lier (yes that’s quoted from the principal himself) and they would not contact any parents or take any disciplinary action to the issue! Keep your children safe and please do not enroll them here! This place is hazardous to our children’s health and well-being.
