My three children were attending this school until my middle child who is 6 and has a severe speech disorder came home with a large bruise on his arm that was clearly inflicted by an adult (staff member).(Let me be clear that the person I believe to have done this to my son was an assistant teacher that went back and forth between two kindergarten classes at the time, I say this from seeing how she treated other children and wouldn’t even approach my son when I would go to class with him.) The principal did nothing about this, in fact she didn’t even apologize for this happening to my son. The principal cares more about covering this incident up and not taking responsibility for it rather than find who did this to my son and stop it from happening to another child. Overall even aside from this incident this school lacks resources and leadership including principal and vice principal lack morals and should find a different sector to work in besides education. They are horrible at their jobs, despite multiple attempts to help them be sufficient for my child they are sorely lacking in multiple areas. If you care about the well being of your child especially those who can’t speak for themselves and let you know what is going on DO NOT send them to this school. This school should be shut down! FYI the police did nothing because my son can’t communicate to me what happened and who did this to him.
My daughter went to school here a few years ago, I ended up changing her schools within 2 years. The first day of school (kindergarten) she let them know she was buying lunch, I even provided a note. They refused to let her get lunch because she was holding a lunch box. Her lunchbox had a bag of Cheetos and thats all, it was a special snack for her first day of school. She came home starving. Not even a week later, I pick her up and her pants are soaked because her teacher ignored her the entire period while she was holding up her hand to use the restroom. A month after, she came home with sand in her underwear because another student picked up her dress and put sand in her underwear, the school did NOTHING about any of this. She cried every day going to school. I also found out a little girl was bullying her and would open stall doors by kicking them and would laugh at her while she was using the toilet. This student was a staff members child, so nothing happened again.
The next year she came home with a black eye from the same kid who put sand in her underwear a year earlier. The eye was so bad, she had broken blood vessels and half her face was swollen and bruised. I was never told if the child was punished.
I took my daughter out of this school and she has had no issues since.
New parent who has been trying to get my kids registered. I have stopped by school office several times, no one answers the door. I have called numerous times and no one answers. Mind you this was all within normal school hours. Finally my kid was able to get an answer at the side office door (so these workers are literally inside as I am ringing the bell to get in at the front door!) So I go to the side door and was told (by someone who already had all her bags in hand ready to go) that the office closes at 3:30 AND IT WAS ONLY 3:25 OR 3:27 AT THE ABSOLUTE LATEST! mind you I was there earlier than that standing at the front door waiting… all this just to drop off paper work that was all completed and signed, I needed no copies, literally all that was needed was to take it and say “Thank you, I can process this in the morning. I will give you a call if anything else is needed” but NO! I got no help. Horrible customer service! At this point I do not want to send my kids here. This has been a pain and nothing but frustration.
