My daughters started dancing at COSB when we moved to Bend in 2017 and they have grown and learned so much! Josh and Elizabeth have created an incredibly positive and uplifting environment for their dancers. The students are cheering each other on and helping each other succeed, which is rare in youth sports and activities. Both of my girls absolutely love their teachers and have looked up to them so much. This studio is the perfect combination of hard work and fun. My girls have felt the reward of working to improve and perfect a performance as well as the fun and camaraderie that comes with performing with students who have become your friends. I honestly can’t say enough about the positive culture of this program and the confidence and pride that my daughters have gained from being a part of it. We will be forever grateful to Central Oregon School of Ballet for the lessons learned on and off the stage.
My daughter has been enrolled at the Central Oregon School of Ballet (COSB) since 2017. We have stayed with the studio through the beautiful and thoughtful transition from the original owners (who operated COSB for more than 30 years) to Josh & Elizabeth, the current owners who bring a dedication and vitality to the studio that is needed for the present day. The classes and studio are professionally run with pride, and with a clear commitment to the craft and art. As my daughter continues to study ballet, I too have returned to the dance floor periodically for the adult ballet classes, which are equally fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend COSB for any person looking to study ballet and dance.
COSB teachers are dedicated professionals who provide the highest level of ballet education in Central Oregon. We have been involved with COSB for 5 years and appreciate that owners Elizabeth and Josh create a positive and supportive environment for students of all ages. They offer quality instruction and allow dancers performance opportunities throughout the year in some of the greatest productions in town. The Nutcracker is always magical and the spring performances have been surprising gems. Our daughter looks forward to EVERY class and performance and enjoys the friendships she has made throughout the years. Highly recommend.
