I had the worse experience this morning at CPCC Merancas campus, to the point where I never want to go there again. I called yesterday to see what I needed to do to meet with an advisor. I was told I could just walk in from 8-5(something like that) and could meet with someone. I go in today at 11:30 am and was told by, Tonia Branch, who works at the student success center, that they would start seeing people at 1:00pm. She was not friendly at all and lacked customer service skills. I said okay I will come back then. I walk back into campus at 1:05pm and was told by a young man that they werent seeing anyone today. Two trips there, and two hours wasted out of my day to not see anyone! I specifically called the day before to see the hours because I had to take off work.
Needless to say, I went to CPCC central campus and Mrs. Sullivan helped me. She was great!!
If I were you guys I would never go to CPCC Merancas campus unless you want to deal with rude people who waste your time!!!
Been struggling to get into this school and I must say its been a horrible experience. First if you go to the Huntersville campus there no one to help you it looks empty and people just walk pass you without helping you. You cannot get someone on the phone its impossible, like this is a school environment you would think they are present and ready to help students but no. Am continuing my education cus I just moved from OKC to NC , I did not expect the admission to be so stressful like why is cpcc asking me to go evaluate my high school diploma which is from a foreign country by the way, all they need is a transcript from the college I was attending, which I provided but no that not enough they want even more paperwork. My classes are about to be dropped because cpcc is taking ages to complete my admission its insane .
