This school stole my childhood and caused me significant trauma. The teachers stood by as kids threw me into fences, threw rocks at me, surrounded me in a circles to chant horrendous things at me.
Their catch phrase is “if your not dutch you not much”
I got punched, slapped, pushed around, threatened and constantly tormented because I was different. If I ever responded like slapping someone back or even screaming at people to leave me along I WAS THE ONE WHO GOT IN TROUBLE. Because “responding to violence with more violence is wrong” but the other kids never, I repeat, never got reprimanded for what they were doing.
I found out years later this school had even tested me and hid the fact I was Autistic and ADHD and didn’t provide me any sort of help. (Anonymous source who no longer works at cvc)
I now have PTSD to match those other symptoms.
I sincerely hope this school has changed in the past years and is better now. Instead of ignoring its problems because they want money.
