I studied here for two weeks this summer. The really well kept environment, both inside and outside the building. Inside the college there is everything you need. There are large spaces for socializing and very activities are organized.
I enjoyed the program and the tours very much. More precisely, I enjoyed the trip to Arundel (where we visited the castle and witnessed a medieval fight); Brighton is a beautiful reality, full of people and with many attractions for young people.
The only negative thing I encountered regarding the college staff, very young by the way, during the trips not very knowledgeable about the things to visit. It would have been better to have guides, as I often didn’t really understand the history of what I was visiting etc.
As far as the family is concerned, I had some problems at the beginning, and also other of my friends, who decided to change it. In the end I adapted, but I expected a more inclusive situation. We can see that some families host only for the economic feedback and for the guest it is not the best to perceive it.
I studied here in a summer course for 3 weeks. Some teachers are excellent, but some others don’t really know how to teach, in my humble opinion. The organization of the afternoon activities was really mediocre. (the sports activities, for example – no one checked if there was enough material and organised anything). Some excursions were excellent (Portsmouth, London…) and some others were a disaster (in Arundel, for example, we didn’t even visit the castle). The host families are okay, they are nice and kind, but they should be informed that they should include us in their familiar activities, such as for example the minimum of having dinner with us. Sometimes it looks more as a hotel rather than a family. Also I think you should provide a daily school bus private service for those who live far away from school and have to take even two buses (more than 1h) to arrive to school. Thank you.
I went to CES Worthing for nearly 11 months.
Staffs are very helpful and friendly and teaches are also well experienced.
It is small school so class size is usually small and I made friends almost all in the school from various countries !
There are many social programs which is really important to make friends and improve your English.
That was absolutely worth living there 🙂
I’ve had a great time on my 10 weeks language stay at CES Worthing school. The teachers are very friendly and teach with a big experiance and also the staff is always nice and help the students in every situation. While my stay in Worthing I had a very nice and interested family and at school I got to know many cool people from all over the world. At the weekends I had the opportunity to go on organised trips, even with guys from other schools and if I wanted to keep it a little more calm I could always go out in the nearby surrounding nature of Worthing.
All in all, a nice and small school with cool people in a calm town.
Best place for studying English! Teachers are real professionals and they make learning easy and fun. Everyone is really friendly and it’s a great opportunity for making new friends from so many different countries. I sincerely recommend to anyone who does not feel confident in their knowledge or just wants to improve it – this is the place!
