Horrible. More similarities with this being a prison than a school. Teachers confess to disagreeing with rules and make up their own rules confusing students and therefore getting them in trouble. Also, horrible at dealing with situations such as bullying and completely ignore what the victim wants to be done. Care more about what shoes students wear, the length of skirts, whether we’re chewing gum or not and makeup more than education and this is obvious within the latest ofsted report! I was happy in year 7 where it felt like a school but now, as a year 9 student, I am considerably unhappy and considering moving schools (just like most of the other year 9 students!) and the school doesn’t care. Happiness doesn’t appear to be in consideration when making changes and changes always seem to be a short cut to make the teachers lives easier – disgusting!

Even with the school forcing students to put up a front when guests come to our school, they still see major problems! Teachers do not listen to our complaints and when we do complain, they tell us we’re being rude, disrespectful or arguing with a teacher which makes me, as a student here at chace, feel trapped in a place that I HATE and not have enough freedom of speech to say anything about it.

If teachers listened to the students and made changes to improve life as a student and not to make a teachers job fun ( after all, us students come to school to get an education! It’s a teachers JOB to teach us, they get paid – it’s not meant to be fun and it’s not meant to be easy) then the school would be better! They’d rather keep students quiet than actually listen to us and work with us to make the school a better place – disappointing as this school has major potential and the teachers / leaders do the exact opposite to make this a good place

The school is a disaster firstly, the class rooms are too hot there is no air con the students get so stinky that i can’t concentrate on my lesson; and at lunch when i finally get a break there is no food at the canteen. There are crumbs all over the place. When ever the students recommend a improvement some teachers take it as an offense and get angry: and when ever something goes wrong the teachers always say its because of the students when some times it really is them. I am deciding to leave the school next year in year 9. This school really needs to fix up.
Care more about uniform than our education.
They tell us to be our own person but yet the tell us of for having different hair colour (blue, pink, etc) and also having piercings. Absolute joke don’t send your children here!!!
Students are nice + some teachers but actual learning is not good. Care more ’bout uniform, shoes, lateness and other dumb tings, care only 1% about actual learning and education. I have a feeling that none of the new teachers are even qualified to teach.
All good teachers left the school when mrs warrington left & now the new head teacher is rubbish, saying that he can’t employ any good teachers so we have to deal with the new bad ones.

Also funny how they tell us to be on best behavior ONLY when the offsted critics come visit, two-face school.

New rules of new head teacher are very dumb indeed, a sort of thing where you get another detention just for getting a detention.

i’d rather go to hell than this school. this school is nightmare there are way to many detentions and they sell plain pasta who does that. the cover teachers probably haven’t even been educated themselves and i cant believe that i saw a review saying that Mr Nirenga is a good teacher.
