Sometimes we are focused on the wrong things in life. Someone mentioned how expensive it is for a run down school. Let me address this: in life you pay for convenience. If you go to Sheridan you will be required to go to school 4/5 days a week for hours. You are being offered a program where you can maintain a job, take care of your family and still further your education. This opportunity is golden! The school is not run down at all, but most importantly the employees of this school ( owner, secretary, admission personnel) are very professional and forthcoming with info.
I have been calling a Nursing School where no one picks up, it takes months to get transcripts etc. It made me appreciate Chancellor even more.
Please note, no one has prompted me to write this review. I am personally passionate about this school. It allowed me to triple what I was earning as a Medical Assistant.
It was extremely ( extremelyyyyyy) hard, and many times I wanted to give up, but, every single time the staff pushed me to continue.
For those who are willing to work hard, have sleepless nights to achieve your goal this school is for you.
This is an excellent LPN program for the modern parent, student, or working adult looking shift their career into Nursing. Chancellor offers a fully online program which even adapted their teaching methods and clinicals to aide students in being successful during the Covid-19 pandemic. Dr. Scott, Professor Fortune, Professor Quinn, and the other staff/professors are great professors/educators who thrive in seeing students achieve their goals. You will constantly be supported and if you dont understand a specific topic, they will work with you ensure you understand the concept in a format that is beneficial for you. Tutor sessions and study resources are available if it is needed. The cost of the program is cheaper than several other programs if not the cheapest and they allow payment plans to make it easier if you have other obligations. I feel as if the educators at Chancellor Institute want to contribute to not only their community but the world of nursing as a whole.
I recently graduated from Chancellor Institutes LPN program in April 2023. The online classes made it easier to be able to work while going to school, but you definitely have to be self-motivated and self-disciplined to stay on top of your studies and assignments. Just because the classes are online does not mean itll be easy. Nursing school is not easy, but if you put in the work, it can be done! Dr. Scott wants to see all the students to succeed and she was always helpful if I had an issue with anything. The faculty all pushed me and helped in my success in the program. The only downside was that I wish there were more options for clinical sites for our hours. I also know facilities were still dealing with COVID and other issues so it wasnt completely the schools fault, but I learned a lot from the sites I did attend. I passed my NCLEX in June on the first try and now working at a hospital as an LPN!
