I used to be a teacher, so when it came time to choose an elementary school for my child I researched several public and charter schools for a rigorous curriculum with a nurturing environment. We chose CTA-Liberty because of the advanced curriculum and because of the excellent experience we have had with the staff, teachers and principal and we know we’ve made the right choice.

The curriculum is very structured and students work 1 grade level ahead. My child feels very cared for and comfortable at school and is doing excellent as a result. We are very happy with our choice.

Choosing a school can be very stressful but a few things to keep in mind: What is the rate of teacher turnover? How experienced are the teachers? How is the leadership? What are the administrators’ qualifications? Are teachers happy and responsive? Do students have “specials”? Library, music, PE, or computers? Do they offer enrichment activities for little to no cost? Do they offer reasonably priced before/after care? Is there a tuition fee disguised as a “suggested donation?”
