Two brilliant children all the way through from Reception & Infants at the adjoining Infants school to Yrs 3, 4, 5 & 6 at this excellent school, first now thriving at secondary. So good in fact, I volunteered as a Parent Governor 5 or more years ago to support it’s great efforts in the community, and it’s gone from strength to strength. Don’t believe Ofsted, this is an OUTSTANDING school and no mistake. Don’t believe me? Go in for a visit yourself.
Have had two children go through this school very happily. The staff are utterly dedicated and passionate about their work, and they have exceptional support with an onsite child psychologist who works with all the children, not just those with special needs. Our children have left this school happy, confident and ready for their secondary adventure. Cannot rate this school highly enough.
My son attended this school between Sept 2015-July 2019. As a working parent, I wanted to be more involved in his schooling so I became a parent governor. Since my son has move onto secondary school, I continued my term as parent governor and was so impressed with the school and dedication from all staff, that I decided to stay on as a Co-opted school governor.
I highly recommend sending your children to Chapel End Junior Academy, not only as a parent and school governor but also as a professional with 22 years experience of working in schools.
They really do help all children to thrive through their dedication and from their school moto of ‘Dream Believe Achieve’.
I used to go here and I genuinely mean this the teachers are so dedicated to what they do. Although the dinner ladys do favourite boys and school dinners werent the best. However learning wise its a great school. Even after mr kenyon left mr sheen has really made the school better and archie is the cutest dog ive ever seen. Cant wait to go back and visit sometime.
Chapel End is a lovely school with great and dedicated teachers,amazing events and extracurricular activities! The only problem is that the school dinners are inedible.
