For Tim Scott, it all starts in North Charleston — his life, conservative beliefs, education, political career and, soon, a long-anticipated 2024 Republican presidential campaign.
Scott will formally launch his White House bid today at Charleston Southern University, delivering the news in his hometown and college alma mater. He filed his official federal election declaration paperwork Friday.
He will then turn his attention to important early voting states, traveling to Iowa on Wednesday and New Hampshire the next day.
Very nice school. Beautiful campus. When I toured, Met some very nice people. However, speaking on the phone with some of the staff about some classes, admissions, and a few professors I spoke with were downright rude, the admissions advisor kept interrupting me while I was asking questions, wouldn’t answer half of them and kept sighing as if I was bothering him with my questions.. it makes me wonder how they treat students..
